EDUCATION
debate is an educational space where knowledge is vital to success. we seek to expand access to those struggling to enter the event with content, lectures, and more. education is also vital to minorities who fight for change with progressive argumentation that amplifies their voices.
RESOURCES
debate is an expensive and exclusionary event. fees and costs lock out lower-income debaters while private prep groups and coaching limit their ability to learn and grow. we seek to provide fundraising, scholarships, and coaching to combat these structures that hold students back.
EQUALITY
debate is unfair. discriminatory judges and competitors exclude minorities and fuel an unequal structure in the space. toxic cultures and an inability to spark institutional reform continues to stall change. we seek to foster a direct and unified front across the entire debate space to directly challenge oppression.

as a site to amplify marginalized voices, the blog serves to open discussions about the debate space and current events. our team consistently writes and publishes articles that provide new critiques and perspectives to advance our activism and push for change. the content we produce includes interviews, research studies, news, and more from a diverse array of writers.
scholarship
cost continues to be a major burden on low-income, small school, and marginalized debaters. especially with the high costs of traveling and debate camps, reaching national success in debate is difficult without ample financing. we seek to provide monetary aid for aspiring and emerging students with scholarships and funding for both tournaments and camps.
hotline
as our namesake and the original goal of the organization, the hotline exists to aid marginalized debaters in the fight against oppression. we seek to help those who are excluded by providing a safe space to discuss the issues in debate, vent, and provide strength in the face of constant discrimination. by providing around the clock support, we hope the hotline will strengthen and comfort those who seek it.
resources
inequities in debate are consistently reinforced by a gap in resources and education. we seek to abridge that gap by providing training and materials that can help debaters learn and better understand their event. we are working to create comprehensive and collaborative lessons and documents that will serve as a hub for everyone's debate education.
